Hi, I’m MG (short for MaryGabrielle).

I received my Ph.D. in Education from Harvard University in 2024.

I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher and Expository Writing Preceptor at Harvard University.

My research focuses on children’s story world absorption - how children become “lost,” or immersed, in books. My work has been featured in Education Week, The Boston Globe, and The Harvard Gazette, as well as The Culture Crush, Deseret News, and The Ministry of Ideas.

I also write a series of children’s picture books for kids with chronic conditions and food allergies.
